A major renovation is underway at the Biotech Campus Delft to prepare the Food Innovation Center for its next chapter. In collaboration with a.s.r. real estate, Planet B.io is transforming the building into a future-proof, multi-tenant hub designed specifically for the needs of growing food and biotech scale-ups.

Nikolas Gaio recently joined Planet B.io as Science & Innovation Manager, bringing a unique mix of deep-tech entrepreneurship and scientific expertise. Over the past year, Planet B.io has supported a diverse group of innovative companies through the Kansen voor West vouchers. Tuesday, October 14th, we hosted a special community kick-off to celebrate that the Planet B.io Flexible Bio Lab is now fully up and running. While the lab has already been in use by several companies, this event marked the moment to showcase the completed setup, share new opportunities, and welcome our newest user.

Planet B.io has joined forces with Biotech Booster to launch the very first Industrial Biotech Bootcamp, an intensive eight-week program designed to accelerate the next generation of industrial biotech ventures.

On Friday, July 4, Planet B.io marked its 5-year anniversary with a festive celebration at the Vakwerkhuis in Delft. Over the past five years, Planet B.io has grown into a vibrant innovation hub, supporting the development of biotech startups and scale-ups working on solutions for a more sustainable future.
